They take excellent care of their customers. They provide a super comfortable waiting area, and are very accommodating and personable. Leagues above other shops. Great prices and easy to work with.

Great shop in the greater Portsmouth area. I was in and out of my oil change in 30 minutes. My BMW has some intermittent issues that the technician (Nate) looked into and gave me the rundown of what would need to be done should the issues persist. The staff is all friendly and knowledgeable with anything from a “boring” domestic to my “temperamental” BMW.

My first visit to Autoworks was for a state inspection. When the inspection was done, I was surprised to find Autoworks was able to provide me with a complete report of upcoming maintenance needs and estimated cost. I wasn't expecting that and with no extra cost. I'm sure I will be back as needed.

My experience here wasn’t terrible, but it definitely wasn’t great either. I came in for a state inspection and was told I needed new wiper blades to pass due to “streaking.” While I agreed to replace them, I hadn’t noticed any streaking myself—especially during recent rain—and they were only replaced last year. I was also advised that my brake fluid and power steering fluid were “dirty” and needed flushing. This raised some concerns, as my 2023 Ram 2500 (with only 16k miles) had just been serviced at a Ram dealership two weeks prior. When I called the dealership, they confirmed everything was in good condition and that fluid flushes aren’t typically recommended until around 50k miles. I chose this garage mainly because they were one of the only places available to inspect my truck at the time. In the future, I’ll plan ahead and go elsewhere. Based on this experience, I wouldn’t feel comfortable recommending them to others.

This is the 3rd and final update (downgrade) to this review. I initially upgraded a prior review based on the responsiveness of Autoworks management and good faith in addressing a customer service and diagnostic issue. However, subsequent repairs and findings have been completely unsatisfactory. My car was serviced for brake/rotor/caliper replacement on both axles, in addition to battery and A/C troubleshooting. The brake service alone cost $3800. After working through a customer service issue and questionable charges related to the battery testing and diagnostics, I came home to find that three of my “new” calipers were completely rusted out in under a week but one caliper had been properly coated and was free from any rust at all (pictures below). I had been charged the same rate for each caliper and the difference in calipers was never communicated to me prior to installation. They were represented as “new” but were in fact uncoated “reconditioned” parts. Could you imagine going to a shop for new tire rim replacement and they put on three white rims and a hot pink one? And reassure you that they may look different but they are at least warrantied. How many of you would be happ
